Fireblade Features
ABS - Electronically-controlled "Combined ABS" provides all the basic ABS and CBS functions, including the prevention of wheel lock, improved balance and easy operation, without any compromise to stability.
Aerodynamic bodywork - Incorporating new features to neatly cover ABS system components, including a sleek continuation of the front fairing and an attractive black underseat cowl.
Frame - Strong, rigid, lightweight four-piece aluminium frame facilitates agile and secure handling while contributing to mass centralisation.
Engine - Light, compact and powerful engine features sleeveless cylinders and pared-down components for minimum weight, and delivers superb high-revving performance.
Slipper Clutch - Honda's innovative Assist Slipper Clutch enhances the engine's smooth, seamless delivery and ensures quick, confident downshifting.
Exhaust - Two electronically controlled exhaust valves constantly tailor resonance of the exhaust system for maximum drive and smoothness. HECS3 oxygen-sensing catalyser system ensures EURO-3 compliance.
Styling - Rear indicators come in a new oval shape and feature a clear lens with an orange bulb, all integrated into the compact licence plate holder.
Wheels - Lightweight aluminium three-spoke wheels help to minimise unsprung mass.
Mass Centralisation - Short, compact form seems to draw everything towards the centre of the bike in the pursuit of optimum mass centralisation.
